After generating an AI song and seven cinematic video clips based on my book Everywhere But Home, I still need one important asset before publishing the music video: the cover image.
In this video, I use PhotoGenerator’s AI image generation tool to create a dedicated cover for the song and video clip.
I use Nano Banana Pro and provide three important visual references: the female lead, the male lead, and the original book cover. I then explain that I want a K-pop song cover for the video clip based on Everywhere But Home and use the book description to give the AI the story context.
I choose a vertical format and generate the cover in 4K so it can be used as a high-quality promotional image for the finished video.
One interesting lesson is that giving an AI image generator too much information can actually make an image prompt less effective. A detailed book description is useful when generating a sequence of videos because the AI needs story context, but for a single cover image, too many details can potentially create unnecessary visual clutter.
The final result is a dedicated Everywhere But Home video-cover image that can be used to publish and promote the finished music video.
This is part of a complete workflow: start with a book or story, generate the music, create cinematic video clips, assemble the video, and finally create the artwork needed to publish it.
