The goal was to transform a personal story into eight short cinematic scenes while keeping the main character consistent throughout the video. The workflow is simple: first, give the AI the story and ask it to break the narrative into individual scenes. Then generate each scene separately, using the appropriate character references every time. For this project, I used Adele and her mother as the only consistent characters. Each scene was designed independently so the video could be generated in short 7–8 second clips and assembled into a complete micro drama. I generated the scenes vertically for social media, used character references, tested different prompts, and regenerated scenes when the instructions weren't quite right. One important lesson is that AI video generation is iterative: even when the overall story is correct, individual scenes may need to be regenerated because of dialogue, character references, or other generation issues. The final result is a short AI-generated drama based on a real personal story.
