The video is generated in vertical 9:16 format for social media Stories and other vertical content, in high definition, and takes only a few minutes to create. The workflow is simple: write a detailed prompt, reference each character whenever they appear, and let FLUX 3 Video generate the scene. The location does not need to be created separately either — in this example, the sophisticated rooftop lounge was generated directly from the prompt. The prompt asks Anna to meet her best friend Vivian at the rooftop lounge and secretly show her a mysterious message from Michelle. Vivian smiles, says she has an idea to discover the truth, spots Michelle across the lounge, and eventually moves toward him. But this generation also demonstrates an important lesson about AI video prompting: a prompt can be too ambitious for the selected video duration. I asked for too many actions in only 10 seconds. The generated video successfully followed most of the instructions, including the characters, location, message, reaction and final movement, but there was not enough time to include every action. The part where Vivian spots Michelle and decides to flirt with him was effectively skipped. This is why your prompt needs to be feasible for the video duration. If you have several actions, character interactions and story beats, either simplify the prompt or increase the video duration.
