In this video, I use Nixm to generate the next episode of my AI micro-drama series, Rooftop Pool Side Drama — using characters, story context and AI-directed scenes.
The goal is to create a complete episode from scratch while letting Nixm guide the filmmaking process. I start by entering the Cinematic Studio, where I can cast the characters for the story. I upload the main characters, including Michelle, Anna, Bona and Vivian, and provide the context from the previous episodes so the AI understands the existing relationships and storyline.
From there, Nixm helps develop the episode scene by scene.
The episode begins with Anna arriving at a restaurant for a birthday dinner, expecting Michelle. She then discovers Michelle already sitting with Vivian, setting up the conflict for the episode. I let Nixm develop several of the scenes itself, while giving directions about the characters, relationships and dramatic progression.
I originally planned seven scenes of around eight seconds each, but adjusted the structure during production to six scenes of approximately ten seconds. The goal is to keep the finished AI drama episode under one minute, making it suitable for short-form platforms.
This is one of the interesting things about using an AI filmmaking tool like Nixm: instead of manually writing every shot, generating every prompt and managing every character separately, you can give the AI the story context and let it help develop the scenes.
There is one important lesson from this generation, though: always specify your video format early. I forgot to explicitly request vertical video at the beginning, and Nixm generated some scenes horizontally. So even when the AI handles much of the creative work, you still need to provide the important production constraints.
I also show how the generated scenes appear inside the Nixm conversation and how the different assets can be reviewed as the episode is created.
If you're interested in AI filmmaking, AI drama series, micro-dramas, AI-generated characters, episodic storytelling or creating short films with AI, this is a practical example of the workflow.
