In this video, I take a script created with NIXM's threadless AI chat and try to turn it into a professional multi-shot video using its Cinematic Studio.
The idea is interesting: instead of starting directly with a video prompt, I first work with the AI to develop a six-shot script, then send that script into the cinematic workflow. I provide character references for Michelle and Anna, including multiple images and different angles, so the AI can use them as the cast for the first scene.
However, this test also reveals an important limitation of the workflow at the time of the original recording. Because the threadless system does not maintain a traditional conversation history, I have to copy information back into the workflow manually. I also run into video-credit constraints: character-reference generations require multiple credits, making a six-shot project difficult with the available balance.
The biggest problem comes at the end: after all the preparation, the generated shot does not preserve the character references correctly.
Important update: the NIXM issue shown in this older video has since been solved in a newer version. So don't judge the current NIXM experience solely from this test.
